Guest Speaker: Matthew Mullenix

Matt is the well-known author of ‘American Kestrels in Modern Falconry,’ ‘Four Falconry Fundamentals’ and other titles in the sport. He flew his first hawk in 1984, in the Republic of Panama, and has since lived and hunted mostly in the Southeastern U.S. and Southern Plains, flying a variety of small hawks and falcons at birds and rabbits.

Matt considers himself an early convert and acolyte to the great Harry McElroy, and has made a special effort in his writing and speaking to promote McElroy’s practical approaches to weight management and raptor husbandry.
